The ALSP allows medics or flight crew to effectively load casualties into aircraft, when rapid loading is critical.
The ALSP is preloaded in fixed and rotary wing litter stantions and serves as a receptacle platform for loading litter casualties. This reduces the physical burden to the crew and protects nearby casualties from being injured if litters are accidentally dropped.
