The APOD-FAB25M is a Type 3 block designed to arrest a fall and to hoist the victim to safety with the use of the block's inbuilt winch mechanism. 

With 25 m of galvanised steel wire the Ferno Type 3 Rescue Recovery Block secures to the tripod leg with the IK Block Adaptor.  The APOD-FAB25M is compatible with:

• The modular Ferno Arachnipod Total Edge Management System
• IndustriPOD^® tripod and
• IndustriPOD+^® tripod with two pulley heads.

Features:

• A locking pin on the side of the block casing allows this dual system to work in either Fall Arrest or Rescue Winch mode
• Hydro seepage system to drain water during usage if required
• Comes with a triple action swivel karabiner with fall arrest indicator
• Certified to EN36:2002 and EN1496:2017 Class B
• A block adaptor (IK Adaptor 90-0449) is required to secure the Ferno Rescue Recovery Block to the tripod. 

If using the Type 3 Rescue Recovery Block with the Industripod tripod which does not have an integrated pulley, an additional pulley is required. 

Both the block and block adaptor may be purchased as individual items, or as a kit (APOD-FAK).
