Product Name: Ambulance Tasmania COVID Retrieval Kits
Ferno Product Code: iNTRAXX SafePaks
As the first wave of the Coronavirus pandemic took hold, Ambulance Tasmania's Retrieval Teams were not permitted to use their normal emergency kit bags in Tasmanian hospitals as they were not suitable for decontamination. They turned to Ferno iNTRAXX SafePaks for an immediate solution.
iNTRAXX SafePaks are hard-shelled cases lined with special receiving plates to which SafePouches are mounted. Attaching and detaching individual pouches is intuitively simple thanks to the innovative pouch mount design, which keep attached pouches (and their contents) securely in place during a *crash.
SafePouches come in a variety of sizes - it's a case (pardon the pun 😉) of mixing and matching your equipment with the appropriately sized pouch, and assembling these pouches to suit the job.
Ambulance Tasmania's retrieval doctors were so impressed, they immediately collated COVID Kits using small and medium-sized SafePaks, changing pouches to suit their needs.
"The guys are really liking the features of the SafePak system, its flexibility, featured hard case is so easy to swap out modules for decontamination ..." Ivor, an Ambulance Tasmania Retrieval Paramedic, said.
Find out more about Ambulance Tasmania's COVID Retrieval Kits and background story of their response to lockdown and closure of hospitals. Read it here.
* When secured to iNTRAXX tracks, the iNTRAXX SafePaks and SafePouches are crash tested to 26g.
